okay, so it's come to that time again for me to do the whole "story snippets thing"... I would like your help here though - if there's one you really like/dislike, tell me and I'll put more/less effort into getting it out faster than the others :3
So, here we go!! (synopsis + snippet):
Demon In Disguise
After the death of his father, Roxas and Cloud find themselves taking up the job of being hunters of the supernatural. But when Cloud goes missing, and bigger things are going bump in the night, will Roxas be able to rise to the challenge without a safety net? (No, this is NOT me plagerising Supernatural - as much as I love that show, I came up with this idea waay before I got into it; there'll be similarities, but I promise you that's just coincidence)
It had been two months since Cloud disappeared, and Roxas was pretty sure he was dead by now (a small part of him did have hope though...) The other blonde had told Roxas he needed to go upstate to help with another hunter, but he'd disappeared before he got there. Roxas just sighed and decided to get up and start his day - he only had the room til 10 and it was already 8:30. After showering, he ate the left over chinese takeaway and packed up his gear in the freelander, then paid the owner. "Thought you had a brother coming?"
"Turns out he couldn't make it. Thanks for the room." After a mini-salute, Roxas got into his Landrover and scanned through his zune until he found a decent track. Deciding on Anarchy In The UK, he smiled to himself before driving off.
A Royal Pain In My Arse
Roxas Strife. Third in line for the throne of Gaia. Still, there's something not quite right about his dad's new wife... Not to mention with his feelings for his secret crush growing, the last thing he wants to worry about is his grandfather's killers, or the responsibilities of wearing a crown.
Standing at the alter, Roxas and Cloud found themselves both with a sense of impending doom. Cloud's was admittedly more focused on having to spend a bed with her for the rest of his life, while Roxas' was more about her replacing the position of 'mother'. Not that anyone could ever replace his mum, and in fact just the mere thought that she would try was enough to make his blood boil.
They sent each other worried looks just as the doors opened. Roxas turned to get his first glimpse and shrugged, then turned back to his dad with a small smile. "They've done a good job; she actually looks kinda attractive..."
Oneshot?
Roxas isn't exactly what you'd call a preppy-looking kid. He was more of the punk/rebel type. Still, that was just a facade. Get close enough and you could see the real him for what he was. This is the story of how I was lucky enough to be the guy that did just that.
I knew a guy like that. He tried, he really did. Every relationship he was in. It wasn't easy for him – most judged him the first time they saw him. The ear stud, the chains hanging loosely from his skinny jeans and the black, elbow length gloves he was rarely seen without didn't exactly paint an all welcoming picture, but that was just him. That was just how he expressed himself. He had a hard face if you glanced at him – usually with one knee up against the school wall and a cigarette in his hand, glaring at people who tutted as they went past. S'not like he didn't like people; just hated the judgemental ones.
He told me a couple of years ago that the appearance was all a farce. He reckoned if people got past that, then they were worth his time. I couldn't argue with that logic, no matter how much I wanted to. Of course, I was one of a handful of people that gave him the time of day, but if you were one of the lucky few to pass his "test", he was one of the most fun-loving and caring people I'd ever met. Always smirking and making witty comebacks, always thinking of the next fun thing to do.
Roxas was the only guy I ever really loved, but now I look back on it and I wonder if he ever really knew...
So, those are the stories I have typed. I also have three sequels in the works for:
-The Sun'll Come Out Tomorrow
-The Story With No Title
-The Hunter And The Hunted
Lemme know what you think guys :3

101 things about me~
Well m'dears, it's been quite a while hasn't it?
I realise it's been FOREVER since I posted anything on here, for which I apologise - I thought the second chapter of Demon In Disguise would be coming to you way quicker, but then I started university and... well, let's just say that people who say acting course are easy have clearly never done one; my god the workload is huge, and don't even get me started on the writing! STILL. Good news is (for you lot anyway) that I have 8 weeks left for my first year, then I'm done for the summer. And on top of that, I've been writing up several fanfics in my absence, should there should be loads to get
Well, that escalated quickly...
-title from Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy-
....Hi. um, this is a little awkward isn't it? Amazing how 3 months turns into 6 so suddenly... though it's probably more like 9 now........
SO! Let's do a quick catch-up shall we?
-I HAVE TUMBLR~! wooo~ So apologies, but as I'm sure you guys know, that takes up most of my days off :p (lildorito if you wanna follow :3 )
-I'm getting into so many fandoms it's unreal... Seriously, adding to my list, I now have SPN, GoT, Sherlock, LotR (though technically that's just been reignited) and my other fandoms have gotten stronger =p
-I've been acting again~! woo! But yeah, I was in a pantomime th
Well I Don't Know Why I Came Here Tonight
-title from Stealers Wheel-
Seriously, by all accounts I should be sleeping right now =p
Aaaanyway, just thought I'd apologise for being essentially inactive for the best part of three months. There are three poor very good excuses for that:
1) I've been trying to write up my handwritten fanfics before I posted anything (it's a much better way of doing things: means you guys aren't waiting months on end for a new chapter~). Annoyingly, because my old laptop finally died (RIP baby, you'll forever be my first child~) I've been on mum's laptop, who wasn't too keen on me creating files. HOWEVER! I now have a new laptop (Woooo! :la: ) so the fa
God is in the rain...
-title from V For Vendetta-
So, I FINALLY got a new laptop today!!!
I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm gonna miss Ol' Faithful, but five years is like... 50 in PC years...
ANYWAY! So, I now have an Acer, and my own laptop more importantly, so I can actually update stories a LOT easier now~
Of course, Windows 8 is so shit that my brother got home and I basically shoved it at him saying "make this right..." My brother tried to use my laptop: he panicked, slammed the lid down and ran out the front door, no lie.
Anyway, I'll probly get it back either tomorrow or the day after given he has to uninstall one and install the other... So yaaaay prop
