I never in a million years thought I'd find you
I never in a million years though I was worth anyone's time
All the times I've been broken down and rejected
All the times I've been left alone in the dark

Then you came along
You made me smile for the first time in a month
You broke through the darkness surrounding me and got me back on my feet
I saw myself in a new light and it's your doing

When you're nearby, I'm not afraid
You give me courage
You give me strength
You make me feel like I can do anything

And I don't care if I have to wait 3 years
Or even 4 just to finally meet you
I can wait that long
Because it will be worth it in the end

And I don't care what anyone says;
You're gorgeous, you're caring, you're protective, you make me laugh when no one else can
I love you my dear
And that's all that matters

St Peter And St Paul'sI looked out at the church upon the hill
Always standing, always still.
I wondered about its past,
Who's lived there in years gone by
And how long will it last?
The tall steeple that looms over us all,
he bells inside, expecting us to answer their beckon call

And what of the land that was there before?
Home of castles and moats, of ghosts galore
Are they remembered, I wondered, by the people inside?
By the visitors, the preachers, all those who died.
Do they know the history of that hallowed ground?

The trial took a long time to finish. There was a lot of confusion about the “supposed” twins; some people tried to suggest severe schizophrenia or MPD. Of course, these were people that didn’t know what happened at the time, hadn’t seen the body count, and didn’t know the family involved. Well, today has got off to an amazing start

Grandparents came over, and as a lovely surprise my uncle and his girlfriend came down to see us too! Nothing quite says "Happy 18th Birthday" like having a chocolate croissant and Bucks Fizz for your breakfast, does it?

As far as presents go, it was just a few things to make my birthday special (like a special pearl necklace from my mum where you got the chain and this little wire casing, and an oyster to get your own pearl out of :3) but my favourite three presents by far were the two necklaces my mum and grandma got me, the Leatherman my dad bought me and a beanie baby red dragon that I affectionately called Kevin XD

Now all that's left to do today is revise for Psychology tomorrow, then go and do the fourth show in three days of Annie - cannot wait for that, it's been so much fun!!
